about
Our performance of "Move On (Desert Song)" live at Seeds of Sound Music and Arts Festival 2017.
That festival was magical and the people there were beautiful, we managed to record our whole set from that night. We played a bunch of new songs that we will be releasing relatively soon, including this song - we weren't going to upload this but it sounded so awesome we had to share.
We hope you like the music and the lyrics, it matters a lot to us and we hope that it'll matter to you too!
lyrics
It's been dry for a while out here, there's no sound in the horizon but the wind.
I'm feeling hopeful, I'll keep riding 'til I find something.
A little bit of rain never hurt my girl and me.
My little girl and me.
Breathe and be patient, soon you'll be loving in Curaçao.
Don't stop the roll you're in or else the vultures will catch up somehow.
I never wanted rain as much as I want it now.
I never wanted love as much as I want it now.
This is the burn you wanna heal, this is the burn you want to feel.
There are things you can't control but it makes it feel real.
Your mind was below your belt, living alone has been a living hell.
You have left us two and now, you're by yourself.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lose the weight of your vice, no one crosses the desert alive.
You've got a child to feed and show you've got a grasp on your life.
Its so long!
Its been so long!
I know I can feel love and move on.
Move on.
I found an oasis, I'm falling in love again.
No heat can phase us! I think I found my place of zen!
My last love was a son of a bitch.
I hope this isn't a mirage 'cuz if it was, I can't exist - not anymore!
Not anymore.
Not anymore... oh no.
Not anymore!
Move on.
